Greeting Card Redo

Every year I make a New Year's Resolution that I am going to send a birthday card to every member of my family. It might not sound like a big deal but my family is HUGE. So I bought one of those gift card boxes that organizes all your cards and comes with 30 cards already inside. The only problem? The cards were atrocious looking.

So I got out some cute scrapbook paper. I had actually purchased a little pack from Wal-Mart for $5 that came with paper and a few punch out letters and sayings. Since I only used items from this pack all the colors coordinated.

I spent about an hour and created beautiful new cards using the old cards as the base.

The best part was that the cards already had envelopes that fit. I still have 98% of the paper left from that pack so this project was super inexpensive.

  1. These look terrific! And what a great idea. The hardest part about making such cute cards is having to give them away. :)

  2. This color scheme is so awesome! It's so calming but with a splash of vibrancy!

  3. Very nice! Now I know what I should do with some hideous cards hiding in my closet. :-)
